After a big meeting that me and my group mates had within our group. We made up our day of when we were going to start recording. We all made time by cutting something we would do on Saturday to meet up to start the filming for this music video. I'm leaving early at the school where I am a teacher assistant at to go to the area where we are going to record. During the meeting that we had we finalized the areas that we were going to record. We made up our minds and we are to record at the beach with a pier nearby and at a local park that we know that many people don't go to. This is so we don't disturb anyone while we are filming and don't cause a disturbance to anyone. As we don't have any real filming equipment at this moment to properly record, we are going to use our phones at this moment to record. The outset establishes a feeling of the genre through the use of neon and the overall design contributes to the film while also getting the NYC feel from the 1970s.
For the commercial project, I wanted to show the things that made me into the person I am today. That's why the first photo was from the first ever quince I was in. This was around when I was 12 and didn't know how to dance. When I was practicing for the quince, I was nervous that I would mess up the whole performance. But when the day came, all of my partners I was training with reassured me that we would give it our all for this moment. Even if we did mess up, we still had to pull through for the performance and, most importantly, before anything to enjoy ourselves. If you enjoy yourself, the dance will come out how you want it to. You have to feel the rhythm of the music. On that day, during the group waltz and the surprise dance, I gained a new appreciation for art I thought I wouldn't associate myself with.
