Location - INT. MICHAEL KANE'S APARTMENT - NIGHT 

[Tense music playing] 

 

[Michael Kane, a worn-out former detective, sits at his desk, surrounded by case files and old photographs. He receives a mysterious package.] 

  

MICHAEL 

(under his breath) 

What's this? 

  

[He opens the package, revealing a cryptic message and a photograph of a crime boss known as "The Shadow."] 

  

MICHAEL  

(to himself) 

You can't outrun the past. 

 

  

Location - CITY ALLEY - NIGHT 

  

[Michael walks through a dimly lit alley, exchanging nods with shady figures. He spots a silhouette in the shadows.] 

  

MICHAEL 

(whispering) 

I knew you'd come back to haunt me. 

  

 

Location: RESTAURANT - DAY 

  

[Michael confronts his former partner, Brain, about the mysterious package.] 

  

BRAIN 

(looking uneasy) 

You're reopening old wounds, Michael. Some doors are better left closed. 

  

MICHAEL 

This goes deeper than we ever imagined. The Shadow is pulling the strings, and I won't rest until I expose him. 


  

Location - EXT. UNDERGROUND CASINO - NIGHT 

  

[Michael infiltrates a secret gathering, overhearing snippets of conversation.] 

  

CRIMINAL #1 

There's a storm coming. The Shadow doesn't like loose ends. 

  

CRIMINAL #2 

Kane is a threat. We need to deal with him. 


  

Location - INT. MICHAEL'S APARTMENT - LATER 

  

[Michael receives a threatening phone call.] 

  

THE SHADOW 

(ominous voice) 

You should've stayed retired, Kane. You can't stop what's coming. 

  

MICHAEL 

We'll see about that.

Playing the waiting game

Just today I had the chance to talk to my groupmates about the music video. We made a compromise with one another. But I think it's for the best that we did this even if we won't all be in the music video. We made it so that only Lucas and Chris would be featured in the music video and I won't be in it. This is because I'm the only one that has a major scheduling problem and holding back the group. So I offered that I won't be in the music video. But will do the majority of the work for the editing. Mostly because I have the proper resources to do so. I have the most experience in the group and I feel comfortable doing it. I'm pretty much depending on my teammates to get the necessary shots, angles, and movement in the recordings. Since I'm not going to be there this, I have to fully trust them with this task. Filming Blog: The Do-Over

We went back to start with the recording process since while we started editing the video's audio could have been better. So we decided to rerecord some scenes again. We went to Lucas's house to discuss our issues and what we could improve on the mistakes we did before. As a result, we came up with a plan and decided to change the end a little by tweaking a couple of things around. But the first step we had to do was to find a place to record. Where Lucas's house is there's a McDonald's that my friend works at and we decided to test our luck by going there to record the restaurant scene. By chance one of my friends happened to be working at that time and with him being there he also happened to be the manager. I had a talk with him to explain our situation and asked him if we could record within the establishment. After some reconsideration he allowed us to record. Production blog: The big set up

After a big meeting that me and my group mates had within our group. We made up our day of when we were going to start recording. We all made time by cutting something we would do on Saturday to meet up to start the filming for this music video. I'm leaving early at the school where I am a teacher assistant at to go to the area where we are going to record. During the meeting that we had we finalized the areas that we were going to record. We made up our minds and we are to record at the beach with a pier nearby and at a local park that we know that many people don't go to. This is so we don't disturb anyone while we are filming and don't cause a disturbance to anyone. As we don't have any real filming equipment at this moment to properly record, we are going to use our phones at this moment to record.
