Re-Shoot Blog

So after we all had someone review our film we went on a FaceTime call to discuss what was our issues with the film. We realized we all had the same issue with the film it didn't make sense at certain points throughout the film. So we made up a date on when we all could meet up at Lucas's house to give the film more of a linear progression and less complicated. So when I first got to Lucas's place it was me and him so we decided on where each of the shots was going to take place and with what camera angles we were going to use. So me and Lucas decided to shoot our first shot. The first shot that we shot was of Lucas's character calling up Chris's character to talk on to meet up. The only issue with this shot was that from the location that I was recording. I couldn't pick up what Lucas was saying for the shot. So he had to get his phone at a good location where we could hear what he was saying with the same camera angle. Overall this was an easy shot to shoot and it gave context for when both character meets up in McDonald's. After that, we shot the shots that were inside of the house. These shots we shot were for before and after the meeting that went down in Mcdonald's. So when we were shooting the shot of Lucas outside Chris happened to come. The shots inside went smoothly as most of them took one take to do. We tried making it less complex and as a result. I feel confident that this version is better than the original one. But the editing process was easy as it was only to replace the old clips. The feedback that we received only mentioned the film itself and not the editing nor music or sound effects. There was no reason for us to change that as there was no reason for us to do so. But everything went really well and I am glad for the film we recorded.
