Made a couple of changes to the About Me Commercial. One of the significant changes is changing the background music. It was initially Day n Nite by Kid Cudi. Even if it is a song that means a lot to me and holds a personal place for me. But it doesn't fit into the commercial. I am still looking for a song I like and ensuring it goes with the commercial. I have been rewatching the commercial, and I didn't like the pacing of some of the clips. I changed the pacing of it by making it flow better. I trimmed some unnecessary shots to make it more engaging and short. I've been editing the audio to where the background song and video audio are playing simultaneously. The issue is I can get both playing. But I need help finding the sweet spot where both audios sound good. But this might change because I changed out the background song. I've also been experimenting on the transitions so it doesn't look choppy or forceful. I'm looking for one that is smooth between shots. With the song change, I want to add a type of rhythm. I like the cuts' timing to match the music's beat or the scene's natural rhythm. I was thinking of a Spanish song since most have the desired tempo. I'm looking for a song with an excellent slow beat but not too slow. So I can properly match it with the shots and videos. I thought I could make my own background music to my likeness, but I'm still determining if I should do it since I need to learn how to make that type of tempo on FL Studio 20. Overall, I've been reviewing the commercial for issues on it and seeing ways to improve it if it's beneficial.

Just today I had the chance to talk to my groupmates about the music video. We made a compromise with one another. But I think it's for the best that we did this even if we won't all be in the music video. We made it so that only Lucas and Chris would be featured in the music video and I won't be in it. This is because I'm the only one that has a major scheduling problem and holding back the group. So I offered that I won't be in the music video. But will do the majority of the work for the editing. Mostly because I have the proper resources to do so. I have the most experience in the group and I feel comfortable doing it. I'm pretty much depending on my teammates to get the necessary shots, angles, and movement in the recordings. Since I'm not going to be there this, I have to fully trust them with this task. Filming Blog: The Do-Over

We went back to start with the recording process since while we started editing the video's audio could have been better. So we decided to rerecord some scenes again. We went to Lucas's house to discuss our issues and what we could improve on the mistakes we did before. As a result, we came up with a plan and decided to change the end a little by tweaking a couple of things around. But the first step we had to do was to find a place to record. Where Lucas's house is there's a McDonald's that my friend works at and we decided to test our luck by going there to record the restaurant scene. By chance one of my friends happened to be working at that time and with him being there he also happened to be the manager. I had a talk with him to explain our situation and asked him if we could record within the establishment. After some reconsideration he allowed us to record. Production blog: The big set up

After a big meeting that me and my group mates had within our group. We made up our day of when we were going to start recording. We all made time by cutting something we would do on Saturday to meet up to start the filming for this music video. I'm leaving early at the school where I am a teacher assistant at to go to the area where we are going to record. During the meeting that we had we finalized the areas that we were going to record. We made up our minds and we are to record at the beach with a pier nearby and at a local park that we know that many people don't go to. This is so we don't disturb anyone while we are filming and don't cause a disturbance to anyone. As we don't have any real filming equipment at this moment to properly record, we are going to use our phones at this moment to record.
